Built by an Enthusiast, For Enthusiasts
I am Dylan, a long-time JDM enthusiast based in Brisbane, Australia. Redline Records is a one-man operation: I research, design, print, pack and post every single order myself, and everything is produced right here in Australia.
Over the years I have owned, restored, and modified several JDM cars: S13, AE86, GTO, Subarus, multiple Airtrek Turbo-Rs and most recently an Evo 7 GTA. Every one taught me the same lesson: buying a JDM import with no history is a leap of faith, and keeping proper records is harder than it should be. I spent hours hunting part numbers no generic parts site had, and scribbling service notes on whatever scrap of paper was closest.
Redline Records exists because I got frustrated enough to fix it myself. I wanted a logbook that actually understood my car: the right torque specs, service intervals, a proper place for mod history and dyno sheets, not a generic notebook with blank lines. So I wrote the book I had always wanted, researched model by model, chassis code by chassis code, with input from real owners.
Not every JDM performance car has a dedicated edition yet, so I also built the Universal JDM Logbook: the same premium build and disciplined structure, with reference pages that work for any car and blank fields for you to record your own verified specs. Model-specific where it exists, universal until it does.
Outside the business, I am married to Nicole and step-dad to a great kid, Xander. I am just as into tech and gadgets as cars. The current daily is a gold Evo VII GT-A with a TD05 from an Evo IX, a tune, intake, full exhaust, Recaros and a Bosch fuel pump. A trip to Japan is high on the list, hopefully soon.
One last thing, honestly. Every book is checked carefully before print, but I am one person handling the research, layout and proofreading, so an occasional mistake might slip through. If you spot anything, let me know, I will sort it out.
Spec, reference, service, mods, ECU, dyno, track, fuel, and tech notes. Every section purpose-built for the model.
OEM part numbers, torque specs, service intervals, known faults and turbo data compiled specifically for your chassis code. Not copy-pasted from a generic source.
Printed to order and shipped directly to you, Australia-wide, with international post now available to the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.
Past & Present Builds
Redline Records exists because of a lot of time spent under bonnets, chasing part numbers, and keeping paper records that never quite did the car justice. Here's some of what's come through the driveway over the years.

Beyond the Books
The project is moving fast. New books are in development and the community's knowledge is invaluable to making each one as accurate as possible.
Every logbook is better with real owner knowledge behind it. Here's what would be most useful:
